A deal and a steal!

Disclaimer: I didn’t literally steal anything… just saying.

Yesterday I purged my closet… when I say purge… I mean PURGE. I took everything off the hangers and piled it all on the floor of our little basement. All I can say is I’m glad my roommate wasn’t here when I started because the amount of clothes that filled up our floor was so embarrassing. I can’t believe how many items of clothing I own(ed).┬áNeedless to say I got rid of A LOT of clothes.

I took all of my clothes to Buffalo Exchange in Georgetown and got a good deal for the clothes I sold and donated the rest to charity(BTW, if you take clothes in to B.E. they will buy what they want and if you don’t want to keep the pieces they won’t buy they will donate the clothes for you. I was very excited I didn’t have to take an extra trip to Goodwill or Salvation Army).

Okay I need to get to the point of this blog post.

I was sifting through the racks while waiting on my quote and I found a beautiful pair of brand spankin’ new J Brand jeans for $20. I knew J Brand denim is a nicer brand but just to make sure I quickly Googled them to see how much they sell for… $170-250 is what they sell for and are sold at Bloomingdales. I bought them. I am a happy, happy lady. I’ve been looking for a nice pair of jeans for a while because right now the only pair of jeans I own are the $10 XXI jeans, which are great… But won’t last forever.

Have you gotten a deal so good you just want to share it with the world? Please share in the comments below!
